Description

visit local fire station

Resources

arrange visit with local station/watch leader

Instructions

After covering many of the fire safety aspects of the fire safety badge in the scout hut a trip to local fire station is a good way of improving understanding. Our local fire station allows the scouts to see equipment on a fire engine, have a practice with the hoses, evacuation of a darkened building, the 999 system and more.
