Instructions

Split colony into lodges and assign a bird to each (eg Robin to Red, bluetit to Blue, Greenfinch to Green etc). Each bird family has its own nest area (chalk circle or bench area). All birds mingle in the middle on their knees flapping their wings. At the signal from the Leader "Fly away home", all birds must travel back to their nests on their knees. The first bird family all back in their nest wins.
