Description

Using vegetables and Paint to create pictures

Resources

Vegetables (carrots, potatoes, apples etc)
Water based Paint, various Colours
Paper/Card/T-Shirts
Knife to cut the vegetables (to be completed by an adult)

Instructions

Place some paint into small tubs.
Cut the vegetables into manageable sizes so that there is a flat edge to enable printing
Demonstrate to the beavers how to print the paint onto the paper/T-shirts to create a picture.
If you have enough helpers/time/the beavers are old enough then show them how to cut shapes into the vegetables to create shaped stamps they can then print
