Description

A basic team relay with obstacles! Additional obstacles can be added if you like (dribbling a football through cones, egg & spoon etc)
For Squirrels you could have: balance a bean bag on your head, egg and spoon, throw a ball into a hoop

Resources

Balls, bean bags, hoops, goals, buckets - use whatever you have

Instructions

Teamwork: group Squirrels in teams of 4. First Squirrel has to carry 4 objects a short distance and tag in another Squirrel and split the load before going a longer distance, pick the 3rd Squirrel and then the 4th before running back holding one item each.
Passing game: Squirrels have to get different objects into a goal - bean bags, footballs, tennis balls, etc - without moving by working as a team and throwing them to a team mate
Discuss how we can help each other to make things easier

Obstacle course: split Squirrels into nests, discuss and create an obstacle course together as a team, then all take a turn running round it. Swap with other nests
