“Fox”, “Rabbit” and “Lettuce” (one item to represent each)
2 ropes (river bank)
Rucksack or blanket (to represent the boat)

Instructions

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORGANISER:

Lay the two ropes parallel to each other, approx. 2-3 meters apart, to represent the river. Place all equipment on one side of the river.

MODEL SOLUTION:

There is more than one solution that will work. An example solution is: Take rabbit, return empty, take fox, return rabbit, take lettuce, return empty, take rabbit.
